Warranty Coverage
Rare Breed Triggers warrants to the original purchaser that our triggers will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. This warranty covers defects that affect the functionality and performance of the trigger under normal use and conditions.
What is Covered
- Defects in Materials: This includes any flaws or imperfections in the materials used in the manufacturing of the trigger.
- Defects in Workmanship: This includes any errors or inconsistencies in the manufacturing process that affect the trigger’s functionality.
- Malfunctions due to manufacturing defects: Any malfunction of the trigger caused by a manufacturing defect will be covered.
What is Not Covered
- Normal Wear and Tear: This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear resulting from regular use of the trigger.
- Improper Installation: Damage or malfunctions caused by improper installation, including failure to follow installation instructions or installation by an unqualified individual.
- Modifications or Alterations: Any modifications or alterations made to the trigger by the purchaser or a third party, including custom finishes or component changes.
- Abuse or Misuse: Damage or malfunctions caused by abuse, misuse, negligence, or accidents.
- Corrosion or Rust: Damage caused by corrosion, rust, or improper maintenance.
- Damage from Improper Lubrication: Damage caused by the use of improper lubricants or lack of lubrication.
- Damage caused by use of non compatible parts: Damage caused by the use of parts that are not compatible with the trigger.
- Damage caused by ammunition: Damage caused by the use of improper, reloaded, or damaged ammunition.
- Damage caused by neglect: Damage caused by improper storage or neglect of the firearm and trigger.
Warranty Claim Procedure
- Contact Customer Service: If you believe your Rare Breed Trigger is defective, contact our customer service department via email or phone to initiate a warranty claim.
- Provide Proof of Purchase: You will be required to provide proof of purchase, such as a sales receipt or order confirmation, to verify the date of purchase.
- Return Authorization: If your claim is valid, you will be issued a Return Authorization (RA) number and instructions for returning the trigger.
- Return the Trigger: Return the trigger to Rare Breed Triggers in its original packaging or secure packaging to prevent damage during transit. Include the RA number on the outside of the package.
- Inspection and Repair/Replacement: Upon receipt, our technicians will inspect the trigger. If a defect is found, we will either repair or replace the trigger at our discretion.
- Return Shipping: Rare Breed Triggers will cover the cost of return shipping for valid warranty claims. The customer is responsible for shipping costs for non-warranty repairs or replacements.
Limitation of Liability
Rare Breed Triggers shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our triggers. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for personal injury, property damage, or loss of profits.
Disclaimer
This warranty is the exclusive warranty provided by Rare Breed Triggers and is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied. Rare Breed Triggers makes no other warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Governing Law
This warranty policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of North Dakota. Any disputes arising from this warranty shall be resolved in the courts of The Fargo Municipal Court.
Changes to Warranty Policy
Rare Breed Triggers reserves the right to modify or amend this warranty policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on our website.
Customer Responsibilities
- The purchaser is responsible for ensuring the trigger is installed and used in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- The purchaser is responsible for proper maintenance and care of the trigger.
- The purchaser should retain all proof of purchase documents.
